We will hold two types of professional career development activities at the meeting:
- Mentor-Mentee Program:
- In order to provide trainees with networking opportunities, trainee registrants will have the opportunity to be appointed a mentor with career track experience that matches (if possible) the trainee’s career goals
- A breakfast event for mentor-mentee meetings will be planned at the beginning of the conference before the formal sessions begin
- Career workshop. On the second day of the meeting, a workshop will be held featuring multiple speakers from academia and pharmaceutical companies who will address research-related job opportunities in multiple career settings.
Both activities will be scheduled before the morning poster sessions so there will be no conflict with the scientific program.
These activities will be mandatory for travel awardees and optional for all other trainees.
For more information, please contact Dr. Lique Coolen and/or Dr. Genevieve Neal-Perry, co-organizers of the career development activities, and members of the KISSPEPTIN 2017 Organizing Committee, using the form below.
